Gearline: Factory War — Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2026
Developer: Indea Games
App: Gearline: Factory War (package com.indeagames.gearline)
Platforms: Android and iOS

1.Introduction

Indea Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent mobile game studio. This privacy policy covers the mobile game Gearline: Factory War (package name com.indeagames.gearline) on Android and iOS. It explains what data is processed when you play, why, and the choices you have. It applies only to this app — our other games have their own policies at indeagames.com/privacy.

2.Data We Collect

Gearline: Factory War does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (such as your name, email address or phone number) to play. We do not collect this information because we do not ask for it. The third-party SDKs described in section 3 do, however, collect some data from your device — such as your advertising ID, IP address and other device identifiers — to show and measure ads and to verify, deliver and restore in-app purchases. Some of that data counts as personal data under laws such as the GDPR, and the rest of this policy explains how it is handled.

Data stored on your device

Your gameplay progress — including scrap and coin balances, unlocked robots, upgrade levels, completed levels, star ratings, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. This data is not transmitted to us or to any server we control, and we cannot access it. Uninstalling the app deletes this data, unless your device's operating system backs up app data to your personal cloud account (for example iCloud or Google's device backup), which is controlled by your device's operating system settings, not by us.

Data collected by advertising partners

The app is supported by advertising through the Yodo1 MAS mediation platform, which serves ads through Google AdMob and other third-party ad networks it partners with (which may include, but are not limited to, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, ironSource/Unity LevelPlay, Vungle/DT Exchange, Mintegral and Pangle). These advertising partners may automatically collect:

How advertising partners use this data

This information is used to serve ads, measure ad performance, limit how often you see the same ad, and prevent ad fraud. Some of it may also be used to personalize ads to your interests, but only where you have given the required consent (see "Ad consent and tracking" below).

We do not control what these third-party advertising companies do with data once they have collected it under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies, starting with Google's and Yodo1's, which are linked on the Google AdMob and Yodo1 MAS cards in the Third-Party SDKs section.

Analytics built into the ad software

The Yodo1 MAS software also includes an analytics component from ThinkingData, which Yodo1 uses to measure ad performance and how its SDK is used (for example ad requests and impressions, app launches, device and operating-system information, and a device or installation identifier). This analytics data is collected and processed by Yodo1 and ThinkingData under Yodo1's privacy policy (linked on the Yodo1 MAS card in the Third-Party SDKs section), not by us.

Reporting an ad

If you see an ad that is inappropriate, misleading or broken, you can report it from inside the game at Settings > Report an Ad. The report opens an email to us with details about the last ad shown (which placement and how long ago) and your app version and device type; we forward it to the ad network so it can be reviewed and blocked.

In-app purchases

Gearline: Factory War offers optional in-app purchases: coin packs, a one-time Starter Pack, and a one-time Premium upgrade (which removes interstitial ads and doubles offline production). Purchases are paid through Google Play or the Apple App Store and verified through our purchase partner RevenueCat. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your payment card number, bank details or other payment credentials — those are handled only by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies.

To validate your purchases, deliver the items you bought, restore them (for example after you reinstall the app) and handle refunds, RevenueCat processes:

Purchase details

We have turned off RevenueCat's optional collection of device advertising identifiers. Refunds are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies. You can restore purchases you have already made at any time from the Restore Purchases button in the app's Shop or Settings.

Ad consent and tracking

Before showing personalized ads to users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the app presents a consent dialog (Google's User Messaging Platform, integrated through Yodo1 MAS) so you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising. If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized to your interests.

On iOS 14.5 and later, the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking-related identifier (such as the IDFA) is used for advertising across other companies' apps or websites. You can allow or decline this at the time of the prompt, and change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iPhone. If you decline, the app works exactly the same and you will still see ads, but they are shown without the IDFA and are not personalized across other companies' apps and websites.

Your rights in the EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to the following. Because the app itself does not hold an account or personal profile tied to you, most of these requests are best directed to the advertising partner that processed the data (see their privacy policies, linked on their cards in the Third-Party SDKs section) or to us at the email address in the Contact section, and we will assist where we are able to.

Turning off ad personalization

You can turn off ad personalization in these ways:

U.S. state privacy laws and California (CCPA/CPRA)

Some data sharing with advertising partners for personalized advertising may be considered a "sale" or "share" under certain U.S. state privacy laws, and you have the right to opt out of that.

If you are a California resident: because advertising identifiers may be shared with ad networks for personalized advertising, this may be considered "sharing" under California law. The app does not send an opt-out signal by default, so personalized advertising stays on until you turn it off. You can opt out by:

Reminders (local notifications)

The app may schedule reminder notifications on your device — for example when offline rewards are ready to collect, a daily reward is waiting, or a daily streak is about to expire. They are generated and scheduled locally on your device, not sent as push notifications from our servers, and no personal data leaves your device to create them. The app asks for permission to show notifications only after you have played for a while, and you can decline or turn them off at any time in your device's notification settings.

Ratings and reviews

On Android, the app may occasionally show a small reminder inviting you to rate the game; if you tap its button, the app opens the game's Google Play page in your store app or browser, where you can leave a rating under your Google account. On iOS, the app may occasionally show Apple's built-in rating dialog. Any rating or review you submit goes directly to Google Play or the App Store under your store account and their privacy policies. We do not receive your account details or your rating, and the app does not ask for your opinion first or treat players differently based on it.

No analytics of our own

We do not add analytics or tracking tools of our own to the game. Apart from the advertising partners (including the ThinkingData analytics component built into the Yodo1 MAS ad software, described above) and purchase partners described in this policy, we do not use your data to build a profile of you.

How we use and share information

We use the limited information described in this policy to:

How our partners protect your data

The third parties with whom we share data (our advertising, analytics and purchase partners) protect that data at the same or an equivalent level as this privacy policy provides.

No chat or user-generated content

The game does not include chat, user-generated content, or any way for a child to communicate with other people. If the game is listed under Google Play Families or a similar program in your region, advertising shown to users known to be children is limited to non-personalized, contextual ads only, consistent with that program's requirements.

3.Third-Party SDKs

Gearline: Factory War is free to play and is funded by ads and optional in-app purchases, delivered through the Yodo1 MAS mediation platform. To do this, the app includes the third-party SDKs listed below. Each SDK collects the data shown on its card directly from your device, which means that data is shared with the vendor named on the card, and each vendor processes it under its own privacy policy, linked there. The same disclosures are reflected in the app’s Google Play Data Safety section and Apple App Privacy label. Mediation means Yodo1 passes each ad request on to a number of partner ad networks and serves whichever one fills it, so the data on the Yodo1 card is also received by the network that ultimately shows you the ad. Yodo1 maintains the current list of those partners, and each of them processes data under its own privacy policy; the Yodo1 policy linked below is the authoritative starting point for that list.

4.Advertising & Advertising ID

Ads in Gearline: Factory War may be personalized (chosen using your advertising ID and inferred interests) or non-personalized (chosen only from context, such as the game you are playing and your approximate region). Where the law requires it — for example under the GDPR — personalized ads are only shown with your consent, and declining consent means you see non-personalized ads instead; the game itself stays fully playable either way.

Your device’s advertising ID is a resettable identifier that ad networks use for frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement and personalization (with your consent where the law requires it). You are in control of it:

5.Analytics

We do not add analytics tools of our own to Gearline: Factory War. The advertising SDK includes ThinkingData (in Yodo1 MAS), which the ad provider uses to measure how its ads and SDK perform; it may process device identifiers and usage events on the provider’s behalf, as described on its card in section 3. Basic, aggregated performance data may also be reported by the app stores.

6.App Permissions

Gearline: Factory War requests only the permissions it needs to work:

7.Children’s Privacy

Gearline: Factory War is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at indeagamesstudio@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.

8.Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal data, including the following.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase and receive a portable copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Our legal bases are your consent (personalized advertising), performance of our contract with you (processing and restoring your in-app purchases), our legitimate interests (non-personalized ads and fraud prevention) and compliance with legal obligations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Showing personalized ads can, however, count as “sharing” (and in some cases a “sale”) as the CPRA defines those terms broadly; You can opt out with the Personalized ads switch in the game's settings, by limiting ad tracking on your device (see section 4), or by using the opt-out links on the vendor cards in section 3 where a vendor provides one. We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Because most data described in this policy is collected directly by the SDK vendors in section 3, requests about that data are fastest through the vendor’s own privacy page. For anything else — or if you would like our help — email us at indeagamesstudio@gmail.com and we will respond within the time required by law.

9.Data Retention & Security

We do not operate a server that stores your gameplay data, so there is nothing for us to retain on that front — it lives on your device until you delete the game or clear its data. We take reasonable measures appropriate to the limited data described in this policy. Data handled by our third-party partners (advertising, payments) is secured under their own security practices. Data collected by third-party SDKs is retained by those vendors according to their own published retention periods, as described in their privacy policies. The SDK vendors protect data with industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10.International Transfers

The SDK vendors listed in section 3 operate globally, so data they collect may be processed in the United States and other countries outside your own. Where data leaves the EU/EEA or UK, the vendors rely on recognized safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision (for example the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the vendor is certified). Details are in each vendor’s privacy policy.

11.Changes to This Policy

If we add an SDK, remove one, or change how data is handled, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top; where required, we will also give additional notice. The current version always lives at indeagames.com/privacy/gearline.
