Sandmere — Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 9, 2026
Developer: Indea Games
App: Sandmere (package com.indeagames.sandmere)
Platforms: Android and iOS

1.Introduction

Indea Games (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent mobile game studio. This privacy policy covers the mobile game Sandmere (package name com.indeagames.sandmere) on Android and iOS. It explains what data is processed when you play, why, and the choices you have. It applies only to this app — our other games have their own policies at indeagames.com/privacy.

2.Data We Collect

Sandmere does not ask for, collect or upload your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or any other personal information. There is no account and no login. The only data that leaves your device is what our advertising partners collect automatically to show and measure ads, and what our purchase provider RevenueCat needs to show store prices and verify purchases (an anonymous app user ID, this app's purchase history, and technical data such as device model, operating system version, language, store country and IP address). Both are described below. Some of that data, such as your advertising ID and IP address, counts as personal data under laws such as the GDPR, and the rest of this policy explains how it is handled.

App Store privacy label

On the App Store, the "App Privacy" section of our listing summarizes these practices; this policy is the full version.

Data stored on your device

Your best score, level, grains, upgrades, daily streak, goals and settings are stored on your device only, using the operating system's own app storage. This data is never sent to us. If your device backup (Android Backup or iCloud) is turned on, the operating system may include it in that backup, which Google or Apple runs, not us. Uninstalling the app deletes the copy on the device.

Data collected by advertising partners

Sandmere shows ads through Yodo1 MAS, a mediation platform that selects among a group of third-party advertising networks (which may include Google AdMob and other mediation partners; the exact set can vary by region and over time). We do not control which specific partner serves a given ad, and the set of partners can change over time. To select, serve, measure and prevent fraud on ads, these partners may automatically process:

Yodo1's own analytics (ThinkingData)

Yodo1 MAS also runs its own analytics, provided by ThinkingData, to measure how ads and the app perform. It may process device identifiers and usage events on Yodo1's behalf.

Remove Ads

A one-time Remove Ads purchase turns off interstitial and app-open ads; optional reward videos stay available.

Your choices about advertising

On iOS, Sandmere asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt the first time you open the app, before any ad is requested. If you tap "Allow", our advertising partners may use the IDFA to show more relevant ads and to measure them. If you tap "Ask App Not to Track", the IDFA is not shared, ads are less personalized, and the game plays exactly the same. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings > Privacy > Ads.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, Google's consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform, run inside our ad provider's software) may be shown when you first open the game so you can choose about personalized ads. On iOS it is skipped if you ask the app not to track you.

The PERSONALIZED ADS switch on the home screen is on by default. Turning it off asks our ad partners that support it not to sell your data for advertising. It is the opt-out California law asks for, and you can change it at any time.

Reporting an ad

If you see an ad that is inappropriate, tap REPORT AN AD on the home screen. It opens an email to us where you can describe the ad (what it was for, what was wrong with it, and roughly when it appeared). We review these reports.

In-app purchases

Sandmere offers optional in-app purchases: grain packs, a one-time starter pack, and Remove Ads. They are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, through RevenueCat; on iOS the charge is made to your Apple ID by Apple. We never receive or store your payment card details. To show store prices and to verify and restore purchases, RevenueCat receives:

Restoring purchases

Remove Ads can be restored at any time with Restore Purchases (on Home and in the Shop), using your Apple ID or Google account. Grain packs and the starter pack are delivered once, when bought; a restore does not deliver them again.

Reminders (notifications)

If you allow notifications, Sandmere schedules a few reminders on your device (after 1, 5, 7, 14 and 30 days without playing). On iOS the permission prompt appears once, after your first finished game. The reminders are created on the device itself, contain no personal data, are never sent to us, and can be turned off at any time in your device's notification settings.

Ratings

After a good game, Sandmere may show the App Store's or Google Play's own rating dialog, and the home screen has a Rate Us link that opens the store page. Any rating or review you leave goes directly to that store; we do not receive it through the app.

Age and children

The app does not require age input, an account, or any personal information to play. If you believe a child has provided data to us or our partners, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Protection of shared data

The third parties we share data with (our advertising partners, Yodo1's analytics provider ThinkingData, and RevenueCat) protect it at the same or an equivalent level as this policy.

International data transfers

Our advertising and payment partners may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States, under their own compliance frameworks. We do not ourselves transfer any data internationally, because we hold none.

Deleting your data

Because the app holds no account, we hold no personal data of yours to export, correct or delete. Uninstalling the app deletes the local copy, subject to operating-system backups. Settings > DELETE MY DATA clears game progress, grains, upgrades, daily streaks and goals. Settings, privacy choices and purchase/review bookkeeping are retained; purchase delivery receipts prevent the same store transaction being credited twice. Device backups are managed by Google or Apple, not by us (a device backup you have turned on is kept by Google or Apple, not by us). For data held by our advertising or payment partners:

Device backups are managed by Google or Apple, not by us.

3.Third-Party SDKs

Sandmere is free to play and is funded by ads and optional in-app purchases, delivered through the Yodo1 MAS mediation platform. To do this, the app includes the third-party SDKs listed below. Each SDK collects the data shown on its card directly from your device, which means that data is shared with the vendor named on the card, and each vendor processes it under its own privacy policy, linked there. The same disclosures are reflected in the app’s Google Play Data Safety section and Apple App Privacy label. Mediation means Yodo1 passes each ad request on to a number of partner ad networks and serves whichever one fills it, so the data on the Yodo1 card is also received by the network that ultimately shows you the ad. Yodo1 maintains the current list of those partners, and each of them processes data under its own privacy policy; the Yodo1 policy linked below is the authoritative starting point for that list.

4.Advertising & Advertising ID

Ads in Sandmere may be personalized (chosen using your advertising ID and inferred interests) or non-personalized (chosen only from context, such as the game you are playing and your approximate region). Where the law requires it — for example under the GDPR — personalized ads are only shown with your consent, and declining consent means you see non-personalized ads instead; the game itself stays fully playable either way.

Your device’s advertising ID is a resettable identifier that ad networks use for frequency capping, fraud prevention, measurement and personalization (with your consent where the law requires it). You are in control of it:

5.Analytics

We do not add analytics tools of our own to Sandmere. The advertising SDK includes ThinkingData (in Yodo1 MAS), which the ad provider uses to measure how its ads and SDK perform; it may process device identifiers and usage events on the provider’s behalf, as described on its card in section 3. Basic, aggregated performance data may also be reported by the app stores.

6.App Permissions

Sandmere requests only the permissions it needs to work:

7.Children’s Privacy

Sandmere is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at indeagamesstudio@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.

8.Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal data, including the following.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase and receive a portable copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Our legal bases are your consent (personalized advertising), performance of our contract with you (processing and restoring your in-app purchases), our legitimate interests (non-personalized ads and fraud prevention) and compliance with legal obligations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Showing personalized ads can, however, count as “sharing” (and in some cases a “sale”) as the CPRA defines those terms broadly; You can opt out with the Personalized ads switch in the game's settings, by limiting ad tracking on your device (see section 4), or by using the opt-out links on the vendor cards in section 3 where a vendor provides one. We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Because most data described in this policy is collected directly by the SDK vendors in section 3, requests about that data are fastest through the vendor’s own privacy page. For anything else — or if you would like our help — email us at indeagamesstudio@gmail.com and we will respond within the time required by law.

9.Data Retention & Security

We do not retain any personal data, because we do not collect any. Data collected by third-party SDKs is retained by those vendors according to their own published retention periods, as described in their privacy policies. The SDK vendors protect data with industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10.International Transfers

The SDK vendors listed in section 3 operate globally, so data they collect may be processed in the United States and other countries outside your own. Where data leaves the EU/EEA or UK, the vendors rely on recognized safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision (for example the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the vendor is certified). Details are in each vendor’s privacy policy.

11.Changes to This Policy

If we add an SDK, remove one, or change how data is handled, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top; where required, we will also give additional notice. The current version always lives at indeagames.com/privacy/sandmere.
